William Peter Henry
Dashper and Elizabeth Ellis
William's grave is on the far western
boundary with Central Park, which itself has many beautiful mature
trees. Looking along the Church section from the grave, there is an
avenue of turkey oaks (about 150 years old) and this is the area which,
in spring, abounds with primroses and bluebells. The freehold of the
grave has not been purchased. Ford Park Cemetry cannot say whether
anyone else would have been buried there as well, as their records are
not yet fully computerised, but as it is distant from the
chapel, the section was never over popular. The site
can be easily accessed through the Lodge gate at the bottom of Ford
Park Road.
