Brighton, West Sussex). Alice Hester Dashper was
later appointed to be an officer of the
civil division of the Order of the
British Empire [O.B.E.] on 1st January 1920 for
her public services in Southampton in
connection with the war. His Majesty's
Lieutenant for Hampshire presented her with
the award 1st Apri 1921 in Winchester, Hampshire.
She died 12th April 1961 at The Old Rectory, Kennett,
Newmarket, Suffolk.
